A new multihull project has been signed. Thanks to the expertise and competencies gained from working on many catamarans, iYacht has now been chosen by Odisea Yachts to help develop a new 55’ aluminum catamaran.

With two decades of experience and over 400 successful projects, iYacht GmbH has established itself as one of the major go-to studios for catamaran design. The studio’s competencies and expertise in the multihull field have led it to collaborate with renowned brands like Alva Yachts, Bavaria Yachts/Nautitech Catamaran, and Slyder Catamarans.
In addition to their expertise in serial production, iYacht GmbH has extensive capabilities in designing and engineering custom yachts, including a 55ft and a 100ft aluminum catamaran currently under construction.
Hafner also recognized and appreciated Odisea Yachts’ global vision and strategic presence, with key team members located in the United States, the UK, Greece, and in their yard in Asia. This approach aligns perfectly with the goal of delivering a performance catamaran suitable for worldwide exploration.

Odisea’s design team has completed the initial design studies for the ODC55. iYachts, the Hamburg and Kiel-based company to be responsible for enhancements to the exterior design of the ODC55, the naval architecture, and the detailed engineering of the boat and its components to make it suitable for production. Additionally, an accurate study of the ergonomics and interior layout will be carried out.
Currently, the yard is constructing six units of the ODC48. Once the design and engineering of the new ODC55 are completed, this model will also enter production.
